Families In Crisis, Inc. interrupts the cycle of Domestic Violence by empowering individuals and families to create fulfilling lives
Families In Crisis is proud to offer clients a wide range of useful services. These services, offered to both sheltered and non-sheltered clients, include:
* 24-HOUR CRISIS HOTLINE:
Our confidential hotline is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Staff and trained volunteers are there when you have questions about our program or just need someone to talk to. No matter what your question or concern, someone is ALWAYS there to help!
* SHELTER:
Our shelter is also open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Located in an anonymous location, our shelter can house up to 18 women and children and offers safety to any individual that needs a safe place to stay.
* SUPPORT GROUP:
Our support groups are held every 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month at 6:00 p.m. in our Business Office, located in the Warren County Administration Building (201 Locust Street, Suite 13). Sheltered and non-sheltered clients alike are always welcome. Children are also welcome, as we hold a separate group for kids at the same time.
* COURT ADVOCACY:
Our court advocates offer help to clients as they prepare for their day in court. Going to court can be a fearful and confusing time for anyone, especially when they are going through other life changes, but our advocates help clients understand court procedures as well as assist with any other needs a client may have.
* INDIVIDUAL COUNSELING:
Our staff and volunteers are always here when you need to talk. We understand you are in a stressful and difficult situation. That is why we are her to lend a listening ear and our our support during your time of need.
