Our Mission:

Families In Crisis, Inc. interrupts the cycle of Domestic Violence by empowering individuals and families to create fulfilling lives

Volunteering is a great way to get involved in your community--and a great way to help Families In Crisis! Just by donating a few hours of your time, you can help us in our fight against Domestic Violence. We always need help and are glad to have volunteers anytime. Our volunteers can...

• Organize and work fundraiser
• Pick up and inventory donations
• Help with support groups
• Assist in clerical duties in the office
• Answer crisis calls
• Support and interact with clients
• Help with maintenance of the shelter
• Make a one time or monthly monetary donation
• Distribute brochures and information throughout the community
  

You can also help Families In Crisis by donating items from Our Wish List. These are items we use for in-shelter clients and include:

• Toilet Paper
• Paper Towels
• Kitchen Trash Bags
• Fabric Softener/Dryer Sheets
• Laundry Detergent
• Cleaning Supplies
• Gently used Fall and Winter Clothing and Shoes (for all ages)
• Hygiene Products (Family Size) Mouth Wash, Deodorant, Bar Soap, Body Wash, Q-tips, Lotion
• House hold Appliances
• First Aid supplies
  

What we are currently not accepting or keeping:

  • Any spring and summer clothing
  • Feminine Products
  • Baby Bottles, Baby food, or nursing items
  • No computers over 5years old
  • No faded, torn, or stained clothing and linens please
